In July 1942, thirteen-year-old Anne Frank and her family, escaping the detestations of Nazi occupation, sought refuge in an Amsterdam stockroom. Throughout the following two years Anne clearly depicts not just the day by day disappointments of living in such lacking elbow room, additionally her musings, emotions and longings as she grows up. Her journal closes suddenly and lamentably when, in August 1944, Anne and her family were all at last deceived.
