Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS – Backup & Restore WhatsApp [Download]

Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS now supports to backup and restore Whatsapp data on iOS devices. Users can backup iPhone Whatsapp messages and Whatsapp message attachments, export them to the computer and restore the backup to device.

Step 1. Connect iOS Device to Computer

After launch Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS on your computer, click on More Tools from the left column, select Device Data Backup & Export option from the tool list. Then use the USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to computer. By default, Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS will automatically detect your iOS device.

When your device is detected, you can directly click on the Backup button to start the process. During the backing up, do keep your device connected all the time.

Note: If you have used Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS to backup iPhone Whatsapp data to the computer before, you can click View preivous backup files. Then Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS will display all the saved Whatsapp backup files. Select one backup file you need and click View.

Step 2. View and Select Whatsapp Data

The whole backup process will take a few minutes, depending on the data storage on your device. Then Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS will display all the Whatsapp messages and Whatsapp message attachments. You can view each message and attachment, and select the messges you need to export them if you have a need.

Step 3. Export Whatsapp Backup File

After you select the files you need to backup by checking the box before them, please click Export to PC button to export the files to computer. When you click Export to PC, you will have two options: Only Export this file type and Export all the selected file types. Then you can customize the backup file save path on the popup window to successfully back up your device data. You can also click on Undo the Restore to cancel the restoration to the device.
